High School: A 2019 graduate of Queensbury High School, Chase played three years under head coach Jay Marra. He received the Rookie of the Year Award as a sophomore and the Outstanding Player Award as both a junior and senior. Chase was selected to the Foothills All-Stars Second Team his sophomore year and named to the organization's First-Team as a junior and senior. He was also named team captain in his final season.
Personal: The son of Michael and Jennifer Chase, Matt is apart of Ithaca's business administration program.
