High School: Graduated from Ithaca High School in 2025. Participated in a third place finish in U-18 European Baseball Championship and was on the Irish National Baseball Team. Played football, soccer, and unified bowling as well, in addition to being a six time scholar-athlete.

Personal: He is the son of Michael Smith, and Kristen Brennan. He has a brother, Samuel Smith who was on the Ithaca College men's swim and dive team, he graduated in 2025.
