2013: He appeared in 22 games with 15 starts and batted .242 in 62 trips to the plate. Burns scored 10 runs, drove in six and doubled four times. 2012: Burns played for Ithaca’s junior varsity team.
 
High School: A 2011 graduate of West Genesee High School, Burns was coached by Kevin Krause. He earned three varsity letters as a member of the Wildcats, was a team captain, and was an all-league selection as a senior.

Personal: An exercise science major, he is the son of Tim and Katy Burns.
