In 2016, Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland will square off for the 75th time since 1930 and the 58th occasion as part of the annual Cortaca Jug Game, which began in 1959. Seperated by less than 21 miles, Ithaca and Cortland annually draw thousands of fans, community members, students and alumni to their respective campus to watch the two teams carry on the tradition on the gridiron.

Ithaca owns the all-time series lead at 39-32-3, and in Jug Games, the Bombers have prevailed 34 times in 57 meetings. This year's contest possesses a little more significance than normal, as it will be the final game of the storied coaching career of Mike Welch, who will retire after 23 season as the Bombers' head coach.
With IC alumni, family, and fans all over the country, viewing parties have been set up to allow Bomber fans to enjoy a live webcast of the game and cheer on the Bombers with fellow alumni, parents, and friends. Official Ithaca College watch parties have been established in Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Long Island, Philadelphia, Rochester and Washington, D.C.
Fans who cannot make the trip to Cortland can follow along in numerous ways. Cortland will provide
live stats,
video through YouTube, while Ithaca will send its
WICB crew to the game for a radio broadcast. Local residents can watch the game on
Time Warner Cable channel 325. Fans can also follow along with live updates via the
Ithaca Bombers Twitter account @BomberSports.
Prior to Saturday's game, a press conference will be held on Cortland's campus from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday. To view the press conference,
