2011: Cimino earned a spot in Ithaca’s starting line-up, starting every contest at linebacker. He made a career-high seven tackles at #21 Salisbury and matched that total in Bomber victories over Union and Frostburg State. Cimino forced a Sea Gull fumble and recovered it himself to stop a Salisbury scoring drive; a week later, during the Union win, he picked up his first career tackle for loss. Cimino was named Ithaca’s Honorary Defensive Captain after both the Salisbury and Union games. He was in on four tackles – including his first collegiate sack – in the win at Hartwick and also recovered a Hawk fumble. Cimino made three tackles and broke up a pass against Alfred and contributed six stops a week later in the Cortaca Jug game. 2010: In his first season at Ithaca, Cimino played in three games and recorded three tackles. His first career stop came in his Bomber debut as Ithaca opened the season with a win over St. Lawrence. He recorded a pair of tackles at #17 St. John Fisher. Cimino was named Ithaca’s Hustler of the Week following that game. | 2010 game-by-game statistics
2009: Cimino attended Stonehill University.
High School: A 2009 graduate of New Paltz High School, Cimino was coached by Tom Teegler. He earned all-section and all-league honors three times and was an all-state pick as a senior. Cimino helped the Huguenots to the Section IX title as a junior and served as team captain as a senior. He also lettered in swimming & diving, wrestling and track & field.
Personal: A biochemistry major, he is the son of Jerome Cimino and Amy Silverman.
