2013: Locastro earned all-American honors by both the American Baseball Coaches Association and D3baseball.com in 2013. Also in 2013, a year in which Ithaca placed third at the NCAA Division III Baseball Championships, Locastro was Empire 8 Player of the Year. He set program single-season records in runs (71) and stolen bases (40). He also led all NCAA Division III players in reaching base via being hit by a pitch 29 times, which was also a school record. Locastro batted .436 with 13 doubles, six triples and four home runs in 2013. He was part of an Ithaca baseball team that set a school record with 41 wins. He was a first-team pick in the All-Empire 8 team and named to the all-tournament team at the NCAA Division III Championships as well as the NCAA Division III New York Regional.
2013 Game-by-game statistics2012: Locastro started 32 games at shortstop leading the Bombers in batting average, hits, runs scored, triples, and home runs. Locastro’s stellar sophomore campaign earned him First-Team Empire 8, Second-Team D3baseball.com New York All-Region, and Second-Team ABCA New York All-Region accolades. He was the Empire 8 Player of the week twice, and was named to the D3baseball.com team of the week on April 10 after finishing the week going 13 for 24 with eight runs scored. Locastro’s 2012 season included 16 multi-hit games, his best coming on April 6 when he collected four hits and scored four runs in a 16-2 win against St. John Fisher.
2012 Game-by-game statistics2011: LoCastro started every game at shortstop and received honorable mention to the Empire 8 all-star team. He led Ithaca’s freshmen in hits, runs, extra-base hits and stolen bases. He went four-for-five in his collegiate debut, scoring four runs and driving in three others in the season-opening win over Mount St. Mary. He had three hits, including his first career home run, in the win over #27 Plattsburgh.
2011 Game-by-game statisticsHigh School: A 2010 graduate of Auburn High School, LoCastro was coached by TJ Gamba, an all-American outfielder and assistant coach at Ithaca who was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame. An all-state pick and team captain as a senior, he lettered three times.
