Career statistics
2011: Toporoff started every game for the third consecutive season and was named the team's Outstanding Lineman at Ithaca’s postseason banquet. He ranked second among Bomber linebackers with tackles and four tackles for loss. Toporoff collected 26 solo stops, including a sack, broke up one pass and intercepted another. He was named Ithaca's Honorary Defensive Captain after the last-second win over Frostburg State. He matched his career high with 12 tackles against Alfred. Toporoff made 11 stops, including a career-best seven solo tackles, against St. John Fisher. He made five solo tackles and broke up a pass in the season-opening win over Brockport. Toporoff set up a Bomber field goal in the Union win, picking off a Dutchmen pass and returning it 25 yards. Toporoff finished his career with 206 career tackles – good for 25th on the program's all-time list. He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester. |

2010: A second-team Empire 8 all-star, Toporoff started every game for the second year in a row and earned his second consecutive all-conference recognition. He led the team with 27 solo tackles and two forced fumbles; his 78 total stops and 14 tackles for loss ranked second on the team and he was third with six pass break-ups and three sacks. Toporoff was named Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week following his nine-tackle performance in Ithaca’s win over Union. He notched two tackles for loss and broke up a pair of passes in that game. He recorded a season-best 11 tackles (including a career-high seven solo tackles) in the Utica win, matched that total at Alfred and topped it with 12 in the Cortaca Jug game. Toporoff opened the season with six tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass break-ups in the St. Lawrence win. He was named Ithaca’s Outstanding Lineman after that victory and again after the win over Utica. 2009: Toporoff joined the starting line-up and earned all-conference honors. He received honorable mention at linebacker after starting every game and leading the Bombers with 78 tackles. He made a career-high 11 tackles (with two tackles for loss including a sack) at Union, then topped that total with 14 tackles – including eight solo stops – against St. John Fisher. Toporoff was named Ithaca’s Outstanding Lineman and Honorary Defensive Captain after both performances. He made nine tackles in the win at Hartwick and added nine more in the Cortaca Jug win. Against the Red Dragons he knocked down a two-point conversion pass in the end zone. He served as Ithaca’s punter for three games; in the season-opener he put four of his five kicks inside St. Lawrence’s 20-yard line and was named Ithaca’s Outstanding Specialist. | 2009 game-by-game statistics
2008: Toporoff was one of the top newcomers to Ithaca’s special teams. He put 14 of his 41 punts inside the 41-yard line and helped limit Bomber opponents to just over eight yards per return. He averaged a season-best 37.3 yards per kick in the win at Alfred that clinched Ithaca’s Empire 8 title. High School: A 2008 graduate of Montville Township High School, Toporoff was coached by Gerry Gallagher. He was a two-time first-team all-conference selection and was also named to the all-area and all-county teams.
Personal: A business administration/marketing major, he is the son of Jay and Debbie Toporoff.
