Career statistics
2011: Sulla played in all but one game and started the first seven contests of the season. He finished as the team’s leading rusher and was the top pass-catcher among Ithaca’s backs. Sulla ran for 63 yards and his first career touchdown while making his first collegiate appearance in Ithaca’s season-opening win over Brockport. He ran for 52 yards and a score at #21 Salisbury. Sulla recorded four other 50-yard rushing efforts, capped by a season-best 76-yard performance at Utica. He rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown at Springfield, averaging a season-high 5.7 yards per carry. 2010: Sulla spent his freshman season as a running back with Ithaca’s junior varsity team. He was named the Bombers’ Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the Alfred game.
High School: A 2010 graduate of North Rockland High School, Sulla was coached by Joe Casarella, a 1967 Ithaca graduate who lettered twice in football. He earned all-league, all-county and all-section honors two years in a row.
Personal: A legal studies major, he is the son of Sal and Maria Sulla.
