Career statistics

2011: Griffin played in eight games as Ithaca’s holder on extra-point and field goal attempts and made two appearances at quarterback. He completed his first career pass during the St. John Fisher game. A week later, Griffin made his longest appearance under center, completing eight of 12 passes for 82 yards and rushing for 16 yards on four carries. He posted career-best totals in every category. With Griffin serving as holder, the Bombers converted all 11 of their point after attempts and 12 of 14 field goal tries. | 2011 game-by-game statistics

2010: Griffin earned his first letter after taking over as Ithaca’s holder on field goals and extra points. He made his first varsity appearance under center in Ithaca’s season-opening victory over St. Lawrence, directing the Bomber offense in the fourth quarter. | 2010 game-by-game statistics

2009: Griffin played on Ithaca’s junior varsity team as a freshman.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Abington Heights High School, Griffin was coached by Joe Repshis. He helped the Comets to a league title and district runner-up finish. Griffin also lettered in track & field.

Personal: A clinical science/physical therapy major, he is the son of David and Marcie Griffin.
