2011 Game-by-Game Statistics

2010: Sapp made nine appearances on the mound, starting seven games. He earned wins against St. Lawrence and New Paltz. Sapp fanned a season-high four batters in three of his starts and allowed just one extra-base hit over his last five appearances.

2010 Game-by-Game Statistics

2009: Among players with at least 10 innings pitched, Sapp was the 2009 leader with a 2.30 earned run average. He posted a 4-1 record in 13 games (nine starts). He struck out 28 batters in 62.2 innings pitched. Sapp opened the season with a nine-inning shutout of Occidental, in which he held his opponents to just four hits. He also picked up a win over Menlo while the Bombers were in California, allowing just one run over six innings. Sapp was named Empire 8 Pitcher of the Week for his performance in the season’s opening week. He was named a second-team all-Empire 8 player following the season.

Career Statistics

High School: A 2007 graduate of Niskayuna, Sapp was coached by John Furey, a 1979 Ithaca graduate. He served as team captain and was a first-team all-league pick as a senior.

Personal: An accounting major, he is the son of Joseph and Abigail Sapp.
