2010: An Inside Lacrosse Preseason Honorable Mention All-American, Gal earned a slew of honors during his junior season. Named Honorable Mention on the USILA All-America Team, Gal also served as the Empire 8 Goalie of the Year. Playing in 17 of the Bombers’ 18 contests, the first team All-Empire 8 selection twice earned conference goalie of the week accolades and was named ECAC Division III Upstate Defensive Player of the Week on April 12. Gal made 206 saves in 909 minutes in goal. He tallied a save percentage of .599 earning a record of 8-9 in goal. He faced 592 shots and allowed 138 goals. Gal scooped up 56 ground balls and caused a trio of turnovers during the 2010 campaign.

2009: Gal was one of the top goaltenders in the nation and earned Second Team All-Empire 8 and Second Team New York State All-Star after posting a 13-2 record with a 7.33 goals-against average and .622 save percentage. Gal was a four-time honoree as Empire 8 Goalie of the Week and also earned ECAC Upstate NY Goalie of the Week honors after making 22 saves and holding nationally-ranked Cortland to just eight goals in Ithaca's 11-8 win, six goals under Cortland's season-average.
2009 Game-by-Game Statistics
2008: Gal was one of the team’s top rookies, going 7-0 while splitting time in goal. He won a pair of NCAA playoff games, compiling a 6.27 goals-against and a .741 save percentage in the victories over Williams and Western New England. His 11 saves in the overtime win over the Golden Bears matched a career best set at Hartwick. Gal earned his first career win with seven second-half saves at Whittier. Gal earned wins in back-to-back starts against Stevens and Elmira to clinch the Empire 8 regular-season title. He picked up four ground balls and caused a turnover in the win at Elmira.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Loomis Chaffee School, Gal earned four varsity letters playing for coach Jim Wilson. Gal was a three-time first-team all-New England selection. He was also a New England all-American and participated in the National Senior Showcase.
Personal: An accounting major, he is the son of Graham and Francine Gal. His brother, Lyle, was a four-year member of the hockey team at Army.
