Career statistics

2011-12: Shinall started the season’s first 12 games before a hand injury sidelined her. She returned to the starting line-up for the final five games of the year, helping the Bombers win the Empire 8 regular-season and postseason tournament titles and reach the second round of the NCAA playoffs. Shinall ranked third on the team in three-point baskets and fourth in assists –  despite missing eight games – and finished her Ithaca career with 107 assists. She scored a career-best 16 points against fifth-ranked Rochester and contributed 11 points, six assists and five rebounds in the win over Cortland. At #18 Hope she recorded seven assists, six points and four rebounds. A game later, Shinall helped Ithaca open conference play with a win over St. John Fisher with nine points. 2010-11: Shinall played in all 27 games for Ithaca in 2010-11, starting all but two. Tallying 113 points on the season, 4.2 per game, Shinall put up a season-high 13 points against Cal Lutheran on Dec. 19. She hit 33 of 40 free throws to rank second on the squad with a .825 shooting percentage. 2008-2010: Shinall was a member of Connecticut College basketball program, coached by Brian Wilson. She ranked fourth in the New England Small College Athletic Conference in three-point shooting as a freshman and averaged 7.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per game as a sophomore.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Joel Barlow High School, Shinall was coached by Nikki Tartaglia. She lettered four times in basketball and received three in volleyball.

Personal: A psychology major and a neuroscience minor, she is the daughter of Michael and Lisa Shinall.
