2010 game-by-game statistics

2009: Gil appeared in eight games as part of Ithaca’s defensive line rotation. He recorded career-best totals of four tackles (all four were solo stops) and two tackles for loss in the season-opening win at St. Lawrence. Gil also collected a sack, a forced fumble and a recovery. He was in on a pair of tackles against St. Lawrence and contributed a tackle and a pass break-up in the Cortaca Jug win.

2008: Gil was a defensive reserve in his first season with the Bomber varsity.

2007: Gil played linebacker for Ithaca’s junior varsity team as a freshman.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Sachem North High School, Gil was coached by Dave Falco. A team captain and co-team MVP, he earned all-league, all-county and all-Long Island recognition.

Personal: A health and physical education major, he is the son of Randy and Maureen Gil. His brother, Bryan, is a lacrosse player at New York Institute of Technology.
