2011: At the team’s postseason banquet Lajara was named the winner of the Bomber Attitude Award. He played in every game, appearing in the offensive backfield and on Ithaca’s special teams units. Lajara ran for 47 yards on just three carries in the Cortaca Jug game. He recorded a pair of tackles in kick coverage. Lajara was named Ithaca’s Hustler of the Week following the Utica game. |

2010: Lajara missed most of the season with an injury. He matched his career high with three receptions at #17 Springfield then caught three more passes in the win over Springfield. Lajara had five carries in that victory as well. |
2010 game-by-game statistics
2009: Lajara earned his first letter after playing in eight games as a reserve running back and special teams contributor. He was Ithaca’s leading rusher in the win at Frostburg State, posting career-best totals of 24 carries and 97 yards. In the victory at Hartwick Lajara ran for 42 yards and caught a career-best three passes. He gained 39 yards in the season-opener at St. Lawrence win and was named Ithaca’s Hustler of the Week after the win. Lajara gained 25 yards on the ground, 20 yards on receptions and 24 yards on kickoff returns in the victory at Utica. |
2009 game-by-game statistics
2008: Lajara spent his first season at Ithaca as a member of the junior varsity team. He was named the Bombers’ Special Teams Scout Team Player of the Week after the season-opening win over Lycoming and the Cortaca Jug victory.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Cambridge Central High School, Lajara was coached by Doug Luke. An all-section selection, he helped his team win four league titles, two sectional championships and reach the state final in 2005.
Personal: A legal studies major, he is the son of John and Joan Lajara.
