2009 match-by-match

2009: Horton saw action in each of Ithaca’s 42 matches during her junior campaign. She edged her previous season-high of 343 digs by four, tallying 347 in 2009 which included 12 ten-or-more performances. She set a season-high of 70 aces and twice served six in matches against Union and Rutgers-Newark. Horton also recorded nine kills throughout the season.

2008 match-by-match

2008: Horton played in all 37 Ithaca matches as a sophomore, setting career-highs with 343 digs and 58 aces. She reached double-figures in digs 14 times, including a career-best 30 in Ithaca’s win over Hamilton in the Bomber Invitational. Horton also set a career-high in aces at the home tournament, registering four against Widener.

2007 match-by-match

2007: Horton appeared in 19 matches as a freshman. In 33 games she picked up 50 digs and 22 aces. She registered 13 digs in just two games in a win over Russell Sage.

Career Statistics

High School: A 2007 graduate of Lakeridge High School, Horton was coached by Wendy Stammer. She earned three varsity letters as a member of the volleyball team and served as team captain her senior year. She earned second-team all-league honors in 2004 and 2006 and received honorable mention to the all-league team in 2005.

Personal: A television-radio major, she is the daughter of Brad and Nancy Horton.
