2009 game-by-game statistics

2008: Grastorf took over as Ithaca’s quarterback for the final two and a half games. He rallied the Bombers to a win a Alfred, clinching the Empire 8 title, by completing nine of 16 passes for a career-high 161 yards. A week later Grastorf became the first Bomber quarterback to make his first career start in the Cortaca Jug and finished with career-best totals of 274 passing yards, 19 completions, 48 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground as Ithaca beat the #7 Red Dragons. He was named Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week and picked as Ithaca’s Outstanding Back. Grastorf was named the team’s Hustler of the Week following the win over Springfield. He threw for 110 yards in that game, completing all six of his passes. He was the team’s holder on field goals and extra points and also saw time at quarterback at St. John Fisher and Norwich.

2007: Grastorf lettered as Ithaca’s second-string quarterback. He threw for a career-best 110 yards in the win at Utica, throwing his
first career touchdown pass (which covered 80 yards) in the victory. Grastorf completed five of six passes for 57 yards against #6 St. John Fisher. He was named Ithaca’s Hustler of the Week following the Homecoming win over Norwich.

2006: Grastorf played in five games. He took over as the Bombers’ holder on field goals and extra points in the Norwich game (Ithaca converted 22 of 24 attempts in that span) and was Ithaca’s third quarterback. He made his debut under center in the Utica win. Grastorf was named Ithaca’s Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the Buffalo State win.

Career statistics

High School: A 2006 graduate of Niskayuna High School, Grastorf was coached by John Furey, a 1979 Ithaca graduate. Grastorf was a two-year team captain and was named team MVP as a senior. He also lettered in basketball and baseball.

Personal: A physical education major, he is the son of Ron and Judy Grastorf. He is an infielder on Ithaca’s NCAA playoff baseball team.
