Biography

2007: Dwyer took over Ithaca’s placekicking duties and converted 62 percent of his field goals and 82 percent of his extra-point tries. He was named Ithaca’s Outstanding Specialist after the wins over King’s and Norwich. Dwyer’s three field goals against King’s were the most by an Ithaca kicker in seven seasons. In the season-opening victory at Lycoming he started his career by converting all four extra points and kicking a 26-yard field goal; his seven points matched the highest first-game total ever by a Bomber kicker. He ran for a two-point conversion in the win over #19 Alfred. Dwyer converted a season-best five PAT’s in back-to-back wins over Norwich and Utica. In the win at Springfield, he recovered a fumbled Pride kickoff return.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Garden City High School, Dwyer was coached by Tom Flately. A three-year letter winner, he tied the Long Island career record for points by a kicker (127).

Personal: A business administration major, he is the won of Douglas and Eileen Dwyer.
