Biography
2004-05: Post received honorable mention to the Empire 8 all-star team. She played in 29 games for the Bombers, with 26 starts. She finished the year third on team in scoring, averaging 8.9 points per game, and was the team’s top rebounder, averaging 5.2 rebounds per game. In a win over Northland, she scored a career-high 19 points, including a school-record 13 free throws, and pulled down seven rebounds. She tied a career high with 11 rebounds against Buffalo State and Utica. She recorded a career-high seven steals in the win over Colby-Sawyer in the NCAA playoffs.
2003-04: Post stepped into a starting role and was the team’s third-leading rebounder and fourth-leading scorer. She was the team’s top rebounder in three games. Post recorded her first career double-double in the Empire 8 championship game, collecting 14 points and a career-best 11 rebounds against St. John Fisher. She recorded 10 points and a career-high four assists in the semifinal win over Elmira. She scored a career-best 15 points in a conference win over Hartwick.
2002-03: Post led Ithaca’s freshmen in scoring and rebounding, appearing in all but two games. She enjoyed her best all-around game against Manhattanville, collecting 11 points, four assists and a team-leading seven rebounds. All three figures were career-high totals. Post contributed 10 points and seven rebounds in the win at Alfred. She scored six points in the NCAA playoff win at St. John Fisher, going four-for-four from the free-throw line in the second half.
High School: Post played at Oxford Academy. Her basketball coach, Margo (McGowan) Barrows, was a two-time team captain at Ithaca who earned Empire 8 Player of the Year honors in 1998.
Personal: A health and physical education major, she is the daughter of Jeffrey Post and Joanne Post. Her sister, Jenny, graduated from Ithaca in May.
