2004: McBride was tied for second on the team in home runs (two) and doubles (11). His 30 runs scored and 28 RBIs were fourth on the squad. McBride was fifth on the team with 43 hits and a .463 slugging percentage. In the first game of the season, a 14-5 win over Wheaton (Ill.), he went 3-for-5 with four RBIs, two runs scored and a double. His highlight of the season was a double-header sweep of St. Lawrence, when he went 4-for-7 with eight RBIs, two runs scored, two doubles, a triple and a home run.

2003: McBride received honorable mention to the Empire 8 all-star team after leading the conference in doubles and ranking among the league leaders in home runs (second), RBIs (fourth) and total bases (fifth). McBride hit three home runs in a five-day span, connecting against Oneonta, RIT and Rensselaer. He homered in both ends of a doubleheader sweep at St. Lawrence. McBride drove in seven runs in the sweep of St. John Fisher, including five RBIs in the nightcap.

2002: McBride earned a promotion to the varsity following the junior varsity season. He started nine of Ithaca’s last 11 games, playing left field and center field. In his first varsity game he collected two hits and scored a run against St. Lawrence. He had a pair of hits, a stolen base and an RBI against York, and drove in a pair of runs in the NCAA playoff win over Pitt-Bradford.

High School: At Ridgefield High School, McBride was coached by Frank Lancaster.

Personal: A leisure services major, he is the son of Robert and Jacqueline McBride.
