Biography

2005: Stamboly played in 23 games in his first season with the Bombers, starting the last six games at third base. He batted .348 in the NCAA playoffs; his eight hits tied for the team lead and his eight hits runs were second on the team. He went collected three hits and scored three runs in an NCAA playoff win over Skidmore. Stamboly went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs in the Cazenovia win.
 
2003-04: Stamboly played at Mohawk Valley Community College, where he was coached by Dave Warren. He earned first-team all-region and all-conference recognition.
 
High School: A 2002 graduate of Thomas R. Proctor High School, Stamboly was coached by Dave Guido. He was a second-team all-Mohawk Valley pick.
 
Personal: A physical education major, he is the son of Norman and Rebecca Stamboly. His sister, Sara, is a sophomore infielder with Cortland’s softball team.
