Bridgton Academy Prep: Gersec spent the 2016-17 academic year suiting for Bridgton Academy Prep under coach Whit Lesure.
High School: Gersec is a 2016 graduate of John A. Coleman Catholic High School where he starred for the Statesmen at both guard and center under coach John Funk. His junior year the Statesmen advanced to the New York State Championship and finished as runners up. Gersec was twice voted the team’s most improved player at both the junior varsity and varsity levels. In 2015, Gersec received All-Hudson Athletic League recognition for his accomplishments on the court.
Personal: A political science major, he is the son of Kelly and Pete Gersec.
