High School: A 2015 graduate of Arlington High School, Barbieri was coached by Dominic Demetteo. He received all-county and all-section honors for the Admirals.

Personal: A business administration student, he is the son of Joseph and Sandra Barbieri. His brother Rob is also a member of the Ithaca College football team.
