ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team hosted RPI on Sunday afternoon in its final home match of the 2025-26 season. The Engineers came away with a 7-0 victory as the Bombers dropped to 5-9 overall.
The top pair of
Alys Pop and
Sabrina Cheung dropped a 6-1 match to Nicole Ridenour and Anushka Jaiswal.
Madeleine Sutro and
Ava Casell-Lapetina would win two sets but ultimately fell to Victoria Sarabosing and Kayla Wheeler by a score of 6-2.
Pop would drop her matchup at No. 1 singles to Nicole Ridenour by scores of 6-3, 6-0.
Sabrina Cheung fell at No. 2 while Sutro was defeated 6-1, 6-2 to Kayla Wheeler.
Ava Casell-Lapetina won three sets but ultimately dropped a 6-2, 6-1 match to Victoria Sarabosing.
Ithaca will look to rebound against Union College on Saturday, April 25 at 3 p.m. in a road matchup.
