PREVIEW
Last season, Stevens Institute of Technology captured the team title with 153 points, while Ithaca finished second with 115.5. The Bombers delivered an outstanding performance, sending five wrestlers to nationals. Three of those qualifiers—Isaias Torres (141), Konrad Parker (174), and Xavier Pommells (184)—are slated to compete again this weekend. Ithaca has now placed second as a team in four consecutive regional championships.

In the final NWCA Individual National Rankings, Jay McDonnell entered at No. 13 at 133 lbs., Isaias Torres sits at No. 7 at 141 lbs., Konrad Parker ranks No. 8 at 174 lbs., and Ryan Galka is No. 15 at 197 lbs., with all four expected to make an impact this weekend.

McDonnell owns a 25–5 record and has won nine of his last 10 bouts, with his lone setback a 17–2 tech fall against TCNJ's Garrett Totten. Torres stands at 19–3 after opening the 2025–26 season with a 14–0 run, and two of his losses have come against another nationally ranked contender he is likely to face again this weekend—Stevens' Nico Diaz. Konrad Parker has put together another exceptional season, eclipsing 100 career wins and posting a 33–4 record, with several of those victories coming by way of bonus points, including five-straight tech falls.

Both Xavier Pommells and Ryan Galka enter the regional weekend in strong form. Galka has put together a 19–4 record this season, highlighted by first place finishes at both the Ithaca Invitational and the NYS Championships. Pommells is 18–8 and has surged during the second half of the semester, a run that includes capturing the SUNYAC title at 184 lbs. First year heavyweight Kamdyn Dorchester has made an immediate impact, posting a team‑best 28 wins this season and remaining unbeaten since the SUNYAC Championships on Jan. 24. as he will look to punch his ticket to the national championship meet, which will be held on March 13-14 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse.
