Track & Field Splits Squads at Boston and Cornell

CORNELL RESULTS | BOSTON RESULTS

ITHACA, N.Y./BOSTON, Mass. – The Ithaca College men's and women's track & field teams competed at two different meets over the weekend as the Bombers were in action at Cornell's Kane Invitational and the Boston Valentine Invitational.

CORNELL (WOMEN)

Erin Eastwood and Talia Hutchinson moved up the performance list in the pole vault as both cleared 3.77 meters to place third and fourth. They are tied for 20th in Division III.

Lily Seyfert was the runner-up in the shot put with a mark of 13.49 meters, while Charlotte Powell was fifth at 11:58 meters and Hannah Bouwens was sixth at 11.09 meters.

Seyfert also placed third in the weight throw with a heave of 15.92 meters and Enya Green followed in fourth at 14.63 meters. Powell also posted a fifth place finish with a mark of 14.19 meters.

Hannah Pawlowski took the runner-up spot in the 3000-meter run in 10:34.16 and Logan Brasacchio was fifth in 10:53.22.

Meredith Colla was sixth in the 400-meter dash in 1:03.11, as was Nicole Tellechea in the 800-meter run in 2:32.31

BOSTON (WOMEN)

Rachel Larson placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.65 seconds as she was the only Division III entry to qualify for the final.

Madeleine Wright cleared 1.65 meters in the high jump to place seventh overall.

CORNELL (MEN)

Griffin Lupes won the 5000-meter run in a time of 15:38.48, which was eight seconds faster than the runner-up. Toag Wolf was fourth in the event at 16:01.48.

Domenico Callocchia finished third in the triple jump at 11.51 meters, while Elliott Painting took fourth in the 3000-meter run in 8:45.75.

Three Bombers finished fourth-to-sixth in the shot put at Luke Ellor marked 14.56 meters, Avery Sens followed with 13.04 meters and Max Tipton posted a best of 12.62 meters.

IC's 4x400-meter relay of Sullivan Cook, Luke Ferrer, Brady Wortmann and Dominic Agostinelli were fourth overall in 3:52.66.

Sebastien-Olivier Lacrete claimed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 6.06 meters.

Aidan Irwin took sixth in the high jump with a clearance of 1.70 meters and Raphael Campanile was another sixth place performer in the pole vault at 4.45 meters. Michael Kauffmann was sixth in the hammer throw at 13.17 meters.

BOSTON (MEN)

Evan Cherry placed fourth in the long jump with a mark of 6.77 meters, while Quinten Lewis was fourth in the triple jump at 13.74 meters. Lewis was also 11th in the long jump at 6.13 meters.

Anik Vossschulte finished 12th in the 200-meter dash in 22.00 seconds and was 18th in the 60-meter dash in 7.13 seconds. Max Boreland took 14th in the 60 dash with a time of 7.11 seconds.
