EWING, N.J. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team was in action for the second time in two days on Saturday and dropped a 7-0 decision to a TCNJ inside their Rec Center. The loss was the first of the season for the Bombers who fell to 3-1 overall while TCNJ improved to 1-0 on the 2025-26 season.
The Lions were able to take each doubles matchup by a 6-0 score as they took the 1-0 lead going into singles action. At No. 1 singles,
Alys Pop went back and forth with Eleni Dakos before falling 5-7, 3-6. Zoey Albert was able to blank
Madeleine Sutro at No. 3 and
Kyra Terman fell by the set scores of 0-6, 0-6 to Gabriella Robinson at No. 5 singles.
Ekaterina Kelly also battled but would fall to Shruti Mannan, 2-6, 1-6.
Next up, Ithaca will have a road matchup at the University of Rochester slated for Saturday, February 21 at 10:30 a.m.
