MADISON, N.J. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team opened up its spring slate on Friday and delivered a 6-1 victory over Drew University as the Bombers improved to 3-0 on the season.
 
The Bombers scored the doubles point with victories recorded by the top pair of Ava Casell-Lapetina and Madeleine Sutro at No. 1 over Drew's Madison Williams and Natalia Zamora, 6-2 as well as Martina Nicora and Kyra Terman who delivered a 6-1 win at No. 3.
 
At No. 1 singles Alys Pop earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Riley Roesel. The Bombers continued to roll seeing wins recorded by Madeleine Sutro 7-6(8-6) and 6-2 over Natalia Zamora, and that was followed by Ava Casell-Lapetina scoring a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles.
 
Ekaterina Kelly returned to the lineup and recorded a 7-5, 6-1 win over Nicole Kalorin and the final IC win was recorded at No. 5 by Kyra Terman who prevailed 6-1, 6-3.
 
Ithaca will have a quick turnaround competing at 10 a.m. at TCNJ on Saturday, February 14.
