MADISON, N.J. – The Ithaca College men's tennis team swept Drew University on Friday evening to open up the spring portion of its 2025-26 schedule. The Bombers would earn victories across all six singles matchups, while also earning the doubles point in the 7-0 victory.
The doubles point was captured with wins recorded at No. 2 by
Luis Crespo and
Ean Lantzy, 6-2 over Nicolas Mobayed and Shivi Perera as well as the No. 3 pair of
Ivan Kisic and
Samuel Lopez-Cardenas who won their matchup 6-0.
Kisic would earn the 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) victory at No. 1 singles and that was followed by
Siddharth Vaada winning 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 and
Carlos Hernandez bested Devan Sutaria at No. 5 by set scores of 6-0, 6-1.
Gijs Fidler was tested by Daniel Arcari but he would prevail by set scores of 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8).
Luis Crespo double bageled his opponent (6-0, 6-0) and
Alex Mazza would do the same at No. 6 singles, defeating Cameron Longa 6-0, 6-0.
The Bombers improved to 2-0 overall and return to action with a road matchup at Stevens slated for February 14 at 5 p.m.
