MARIETTA, Ohio – The Ithaca College baseball team finished up its trip to Ohio with a 13-3 loss to Spalding University on Saturday on the campus of Marietta College. Ithaca has now lost five straight games and is 6-7 on the season.

A two-run double made it 7-0 in the fourth, followed by a run in the fifth and three more in the sixth to make it 11-0. Another two-run double in the seventh resulted in a 13-0 advantage for Spalding.
Ithaca got on the board in the bottom of the seventh with three runs as
Lucas Orlovitz stroked a double to plate
Sheldon Jay Walker III and then
Andrew McDermott belted a two-run home run for the 13-3 final as the game was called due to a 10-run rule.
Ithaca hosts St. Lawrence for a three-game Liberty League series next Friday and Saturday.
