POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 25 Ithaca College field hockey team fell to 0-2 in Liberty League play, and 7-4 overall, with a 1-0 loss at Vassar College on Friday afternoon. The Brewers snapped a four-game losing streak against IC and have now won all four of their matchups against the Bombers by 1-0 outcomes.

Vassar weathered the pressure from IC and countered with two shots in the second quarter and scored off a corner attempted in the 22nd minute, which proved to be the game-winning goal.
The Bombers avoided further damage in the third stanza as
Maeve Clark made four saves to keep things at a 1-0 difference.
IC once again took four shots in the final quarter of play, but only one was on target and was turned away.
