ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's swimming and diving team hosted both WPI and William Smith on Saturday afternoon inside Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium. The Bombers were able to win both the opening and closing relay races and scored a 253-47 win over the Herons and a 211-83 victory over WPI to improve to 4-0 on the season.
 
Sydney Koehler who was recognized as the Liberty League Swimmer of the Week, continued her strong start to her season winning both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.57) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:31.74). Teammate 
Kathleen Papiernik also had a strong meet as she was second in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time 2:33.81 as she would win an event in the 200-yard butterfly where she recorded a time of 2:19.26. Papiernik would cap off her meet with another individual win as she just out touched WPI's Mallory Lapointe in the 200-yard IM as they put together times of 2:15.10 and 2:15.24.
 
First year 
Charlotte Barton was speedy in the 50-yard freestyle as she not only improved upon her time from a week ago but also led the Bombers to a one-two finish in the event. Barton recorded a finals time of 25.14 and right behind her was 
Emma Kidd who recorded a time of 25.31. Barton would win her second event of the afternoon in the 100-yard freestyle as she clocked a time of 54.57, which was over a second faster than WPI's Mallory Lapointe (55.76).
 
Naomi Fry swam a season-best time of 5:26.11, shaving over three seconds off her time from a week ago to win the 500-yard freestyle. Joining in and winning the 100-yard butterfly was sophomore 
Elizabeth Bodie who swam a finals time of 59.14.
 
In diving action, the Bombers had an outstanding showing on the 1-meter boards. 
Eliza Salus put together a season-best of 258.90 to win the event and was followed closely by teammates 
Maya Hathorn (244.65) and 
Grace O'Malley (240.65) who finished second and third, respectively. 
Anastasia Albornoz and Hathorn went back and forth on the 3-meter boards before Abornoz squeaked out the win with a finals score of 238.15.
