ALL-TIME SERIES: Ithaca and Curry will meet for the second all-time meeting between the two schools on Saturday. The last time IC and Curry squared off, the Colonels defeated the Bombers, 26-21, at Butterfield Stadium in the First Round of the NCAA Division III Championship in 2008.

COMING OFF A BYE: The Bombers are coming off a bye week following their 0-2 start to the season against nationally ranked foes. Since 2001, Ithaca is 19-3 in games following a bye.

ANOTHER D3FB HONOR: Following the loss to Endicott on September 14, D3football.com released its Team of the Week and named Isaiah Couser to special teams after he blocked a field goal and extra point. The blocked field goal was returned 47 yards and set up Ithaca's only touchdown of the contest. Couser is currently ranked No. 3 in Division III in blocked kicks.

Ithaca has placed 62 players on the D3football.com Team of the Week since 1999.

TRIPS TO NEW ENGLAND: Ithaca does not venture out to New England frequently after the departure from the Empire 8 and rivals within that conference (Springfield and Norwich). IC will now travel Northeast for the third straight season and has gone 3-0 in those trips (Bridgewater State – 51-14, Endicott – 20-17 and Springfield – 21-7). The Bombers are 8-3 in games played within New England since 2001.

NCAA STAT RANKINGS: The Bombers have blocked three kicks already this season and rank fifth in the country. IC is also ninth in fewest penalty yards (55), 10th in fewest penalties (6), 11th in fewest penalties per game (3) and 12th in penalty yards per game (27.5).

Individually, Jalen Leonard-Osbourne is 16th nationally with 165 all-purpose yards per game.

GETTING TO KNOW THE COLONELS: Curry is a member of the Conference of New England (formerly the Commonwealth Coast Conference) and is 1-2 on the season. The Colonels are coming off a 50-0 win over Dean on September 21 to snap a two-game losing streak after setbacks to Salve Regina (28-10) and No. 13 Hardin-Simmons (73-21).

The Colonels average 293.0 yards on offense and surrender 289.3 yards on defense. Curry scores 27.0 points per game and allows 33.7.

Curry's offense filters through running back Montie Quinn, who has 306 yards on 63 carries and three touchdowns. Quarterback Michael Moriarty has thrown for 320 yards and three touchdowns, but has been intercepted five times.

On defense, Adem Kica paces the unit with 26 total tackles, while Pete Jurovich III has three sacks for a loss of 31 yards. Albert Pujols is second on the team with 14 tackles.

UP NEXT: The Bombers will remain on the road next Saturday, as IC opens Liberty League play at Hobart on October 5 at 1 p.m.
