ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team was back in action and returned to its winning ways on Monday evening besting SUNY Oneonta by a 9-0 score. With the win, the Bombers improved to 6-6 overall.
 
The Bombers earned their first home victory of the season in dominant fashion winning each match and their second overall shutout of the season. The IC pair of 
Taylor Crain and 
Lauren Rodriguez won 8-1 and it was followed up by a No. 2 slot win by 
Ava Casell-Lapetina and 
Maddie Sutro who downed Haley Peck and Danielle Copp 8-3. The final win was captured by the pair of 
Eliana Chelnick and 
Aenessa Rylski who beat Illana Ger and Kelly Hayes by a score of 8-2.
 
In singles action, 
Taylor Crain was easily able to handle Julia Holtermann besting her by scores of 6-1, 6-1. 
Kendall Curley scored a 6-2, 6-3 win and in dominant fashion 
Sabrina Cheung won 6-1, 6-0 over Haley Peck of the Red Dragons. Also recording singles victories for the Bombers were 
Eliana Chelnick (8-1) as well as 
Aenessa Rylski who beat Illana Ger 6-0, 6-2 and 
Ava Casell-Lapetina who beat Danielle Copp by scores of 6-1, 6-1.
 
Next up, the Bombers will have a quick turnaround hosting fellow Liberty League opponent RIT Tigers on Wednesday, April 10 at 4 p.m.
