ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's tennis team took on Division I St. Bonaventure University on Friday afternoon in its second to last match of the regular season. The Bombers ended up falling 7-0, but it was a good overall experience for the Bombers inside the SBU Tennis Center.
Doubles action went back and forth before the Bonnies were eventually able to clinch the team point with wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 doubles.
Nicolas Luis fell in the No. 1 singles slot as he dropped a 1-6, 1-6 result to Archie Graham.
Gijs Fidler pushed his opponent Hugo Cochlin winning the first set 6-2 before eventually falling 3-6, 7-10. Both
Siddharth Vaada and
Ean Lantzy fell by 1-6, 2-6 set scores and
Jacob Wachs and Arjun Pindiprolu battled with the St. Bonaventure winning 6-3, 6-4.
The Bombers will conclude the regular season slate with a Liberty League match at Skidmore at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 27.
