ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's tennis team celebrated the careers of Nicolas Luis, Max Sobel, Jacob Wachs and Eric Dubilirer on Sunday prior to hosting Bard College. The Bombers were able to sweep each match besting Bard by a 9-0 score as IC improves to 7-9 overall and 3-4 within the Liberty League.
 
David Lubell, Max Sobel, Jacob Wachs and Gijs Fidler were each able to double bagel their opponents in singles play earning victories. Nicolas Luis was able to score a 6-0, 6-1 win over Thanasis Kostikas and also winning by the same score was Eric Dubilirer who defeated Joas Erasmus.
 
In doubles action, the top pairing of Nicolas Luis and Siddharth Vaada were able to down Thanasis Kostikas and Sam Marcus by a score of 8-1. Jacob Wachs and Eric Dubilirer teamed up at No. 2 and came up with an 8-1 win and Max Sobel and Ean Lantzy were able to blank Luca Heidelberg and George Miahkov, 8-0.
 
Next up, the Bombers will take on Division I St. Bonaventure University on the road on Friday, April 19 in non-conference action at 4 p.m.
