ORLANDO, Fla. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team swept each of its matches on Thursday as they dominated the Springfield College Pride winning by a 9-0 score. The Bombers improved to 4-3 overall while Springfield dropped to 0-5.
 
Ithaca looked in top form battling in each of the singles matches as 
Taylor Crain easily won 6-1, 6-2 and 
Alys Pop was able to follow suit at No. 2 singles winning by scores of 6-2, 6-2. 
Lauren Rodriguez was able to defeat Veronica Fulgieri 6-4, 6-4 and 
Sabrina Cheung took down Alysa Elliott 6-4, 6-0. The final two singles victories came from 
Maddie Sutro who bested Emma Aberle by scores of 6-2, 6-2 and 
Ava Casell-Lapetina clinched the win in thrilling fashion as she dropped the first set 4-6, came back 6-4 and defeated Kelly McGoldrick 10-4 to take the match.
 
In doubles play, 
Taylor Crain and 
Alys Pop had their most dominant victory of the season as they defeated the Pride's top pair 8-0. In the No. 2 slot 
Kendall Curley and 
Sabrina Cheung defeated their opponents 8-6. It was a back-and-forth battle between 
Ava Casell-Lapetina/
Maddie Sutro and the Springfield pair of Veronica Fulgieri but the Bombers duo with their opponents withdrawing.
 
The Bombers will take on Lafayette College at 11 a.m. on Friday in their final spring break match as they will return to the South Hill to host RPI at home on Sunday, March 24 at 2 p.m. in a Liberty League matchup.
