RECENT COMMON OPPONENTS: Ithaca rarely ventures into New England after the departure of Springfield and Norwich as conference opponents in the mid-2000s. Since 2011, IC has only played in New England once – 2022 at Bridgewater State – but the Bombers and Gulls have faced some common opponents over the past few seasons (2017-23). Those teams are St. Lawrence, Bridgewater State, Springfield, RPI, Rochester and Hobart.
RIGHTING THE SHIP: Last weekend's loss to Hopkins was the first season-opening setback for IC since 2017, which was also the last time the Bombers started a year 0-2. Prior to that, Ithaca's last season to start with a loss was 1997.
D3FOOTBALL.COM TOP 25 POLL: Ithaca fell from No. 9 in the preseason poll to No. 18 in this week's poll. Endicott is currently receiving the second-most votes in the poll with 24.
UP NEXT: Ithaca remains on the road for the third straight week as the Bombers head to Alfred for a 1 p.m. kickoff on September 16.
