CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team had a quick turnaround in competition as the Bombers traveled to Cortland on Tuesday to take part in the CNY College Challenge.
Dom Mikula solidified his place for the upcoming NCAA Division III Championships as he cleared 5.10 meters in the pole vault to tie for the No. 1 mark in the country.
Tyrell Penalba tied for second in the high jump at 1.73 meters.
Justin Showstead was a third place performer in the hammer throw at 51.85 meters.
Jalen Hines took third in the javelin at 39.06 meters and claimed eighth in the shot put at 9.42 meters.
Anthony D'Addetta was a third place finisher in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.99 seconds. D'Addetta also competed in the high jump and finished fourth with a clearance of 1.63 meters.
Ethan Aguilar was fourth in the long jump at 5.89 meters, while
Nicholas Reyes placed seventh at 5.46 meters.
Shaun Herlihy and
Robert George each cleared 4.50 meters in the pole vault to finish in fifth and sixth.
