ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team fell to St. Lawrence University 7–2 on Saturday afternoon at the Wheeler Tennis Courts.
Taylor Crain picked up two wins as she continues her incredible season.
The Bombers went 1–2 in the doubles slate with Crain and
Caroline Herz teaming up for an 8–0 win in the No. 2 spot. Becky Andrews and
Zoe Davis fell in a tight 8–6 match in the No. 1 spot against Catherine Gamble and Molly Jesperson.
Crain picked up her second win in the No. 1 singles spot, defeating Gamble 6–3 and 6–4. In the No. 2 spot, Andrews lost another close match, falling 6–2 and 6–4 in her sets to Jesperson.
Eliana Chelnick played in a close match with Meredith Macey, falling 10–8 in a third set.
The Bombers are now 8–8 on the season with its last regular season match on Sunday, hosting RPI in a big Liberty League showdown.
