Women's Tennis Fall on the Road to Union

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team dropped its match against Union College on Saturday afternoon with a final score of 7–2. The Bombers dropped all their matches except for Taylor Crain and Sabrina Cheung's singles matches.

Crain teamed up with Caroline Herz at the No. 2 doubles spot, falling in a tight match that went to extras. The duo fell 9–7 as the match came down to the wire as the Dutchwomen swept doubles play.

Crain defeated her opponent Marilena Karadimou at the No. 1 singles spot, taking both sets by a score of 6–1. The Bombers' second win of the day came from Cheung at the No. 5 spot. Union's Claire Langille forced a third set, which Cheung took 10–4.

The Bombers move to 5–6 on the season with a 1–2 record in conference play. The Bombers are back in action on Sunday looking to return to .500 with an 11 a.m. match at Bard College.
