ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team defeated SUNY Oneonta 7–2. The Bombers bounce back after losses in each of its previous three matches, sweeping in doubles play and taking four of six in singles play to earn a big victory. 
 
Each of the Bombers' three doubles teams won its matches by wide margins. At the No. 1 spot, 
Rebecca Andrews and 
Zoe Davis defeated Julia Holtermann and Maxie Karen 8–1. At the No. 3 spot, 
Kayla Shenk and 
Sarah Kohberger shut out their opponents for an 8–0 win. 
Taylor Crain and 
Caroline Herz completed the doubles sweep at the No. 2 spot with an 8–2 win. 
 
At No. 1 singles, Crain defeated Holtermann 6–0 and 6–2 to claim the Bombers first singles victory. The Red Dragons got two matches back before 
Sabrina Cheung clinched the team victory, winning 6–4 in both sets to defeat Brianna Shaw in a great match. 
 
Herz and Kohberger got the final two wins of the day in the No. 5 and No. 6 spots. Kohberger bounced back with a big victory in the second set to force a third set, winning 10–7 in an exciting match. Herz dominated her opponent with 6–0 and 6–1 wins in both sets. 
 
The Bombers advance to 5-5 on the season and will travel to Union College on Saturday for an 11 a.m. match.
