Orlando, Fla. – The Ithaca College men's tennis team was defeated 8–1 by Stevens Institute of Technology on Tuesday night. The Bombers' lone win came from 
Nicolas Luis in the No. 1 singles match as the Bombers lost close matches all around. 
 
Jacob Wachs and Eric Dubilerer teamed up for a tight 8–5 match. Luis and 
Tyler Del Zoppo also fell in a close 8–5 match, and the Bombers were down 3–0 heading into singles matches. 
 
Luis defeated Vivek Harinarayan 6–3 and 6–4 in the first two sets to grab the win. Dubilerer fell in a close match losing in extras in the second set. 
 
Del Zoppo forced a third set with a big 6–2 win in the second set but fell 6–3 in the third set. 
Carlos Hernandez's match also went into a third set, falling in extras in the final set. 
 
The Bombers return to action on Wednesday with a doubleheader against Denison University and Colby-Sawyer College with matches starting at 12 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
