BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Ithaca College women's track & field team posted an eighth place overall finish at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex with 24 points as the Bombers received their third national runner-up performance of the weekend on Saturday.
That runner-up was
Logan Bruce, who broke her own 60-meter hurdles school record for the third time during the national meet, as she clocked 8.49 seconds in the title race to finish second overall.
Bruce finished behind Birgen Nelson of Gustavus Adolphus, who set a championship record with a time of 8.39 seconds.
The runner-up placement gives Bruce her sixth career All-American honor during her career at Ithaca College. She also becomes the 150th all-time All-American in IC women's track & field history.
