RESULTS
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's track & field program was topped by .5 points by the University of Rochester at the Liberty League Indoor Championships at RIT on Saturday. Ithaca finished with 185.5 points and Rochester won with 186 points.
Logan Bruce, who was named the Field Performer of the Meet, won the 60-meter hurdles in a school, meet and facility record time of 8.72 seconds. Bruce also won the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.83 seconds, squeaking past Traci Francis of Vassar by .004. She took first in her third event on Saturday as Bruce prevailed in the high jump as well with a clearance of 1.58 meters (5' 2.25").
Paloma De Monte was the runner-up in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.35 as she was edged by .07 for first place.
Rachel Rose placed fourth in a time of 2:20.83 and
Joy Petersen finished eighth at 2:23.86.
Luca Pecora was another runner-up for IC as she measured out 11.26 meters (36' 11.5") in the triple jump.
Soncerae Hamiter also finished second in the weight throw at 14.16 meters (46' 5.5") and
Lily Seyfert took fourth with a mark of 14.07 meters (46' 2").

Natalie MacArthur,
Katharine Downey,
Emily Johnson and Rose secured second overall in 4:10.52.
Cecelia LaBonte cleared 1.48 meters (4' 10.25") in the high jump to finish in sixth place.
LaBonte took seventh in the 60 hurdles at 9.81 seconds and Pecora finished eighth in 9.83 seconds.
Ithaca heads to the AARTFC Championships at the Armory in NYC next weekend.
