ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team split its group between two meets as IC traveled to Boston University and RIT on February 10-11.
At Boston
Jalen Leonard-Osbourne was the runner-up in the 60-meter dash invitational at 6.79 seconds.
Nathaniel Oczkowski cruised in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.67, while
Ian Ertel ran 52.33 and
Conor Ryan finished in 52.48.
Andy Frank ran a time of 7.10 in the 60-meter dash, while
Anthony D'Addetta clocked in at 7.25 and
Tyrell Penalba finished in 7.41. Frank also ran in the 200-meter dash and finished with a time of 21.83 seconds. D'Addetta posted 23.07 in the 200, while Penalba finished with 23.63 and Ertel clocked 23.75.
Alex Whatley ran 1:55.62 in the 800, while Jonathan Sadanage crossed in 1:58.86 and
Ben Coates posted a time of 2:01.15.
The 4x400-meter relay of Oczkowski, Whatley, Ryan and Sadanaga recorded a time of 3:26.98.
At RIT
Justin Showstead was the runner-up in the shot put with a heave of 15.45 meters (50' 8.25). Showstead also placed fifth in the weight throw at 15.43 meters (50' 7").
Dom Mikula was third overall in the pole vault at 4.85 meters (15' 11"), while
Brendan Sheehan took fifth at 4.55 meters (14' 11").
Shaun Herlihy placed seventh with a mark of 4.55 meters (14' 11") and
Callum Howald was eighth at 4.40 meters (14' 5.25").
Daniel Hutchinson secured a sixth place finish in the long jump at 6.72 meters (22' 0.75").
Matt Lokshin finished sixth in the 60-hurdles at 9.19 seconds, while
Brett Atkin was eighth in 9.32 seconds.
