ITHACA, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 15/16 Ithaca College football team heads to St. Lawrence University this Saturday, November 4 for a 1 p.m. kickoff in the Bombers' final conference game of the season. The Bombers are 7-1 on the season and 5-0 in the Liberty League, while St. Lawrence is 2-6 and 0-4.

ALL-TIME SERIES: Ithaca will play St. Lawrence in the 42nd all-time meeting between the two schools on Saturday. Ithaca is 34-6-1 against the Saints and has won each of the past 27 meetings. IC defeated St. Lawrence, 40-0, last season and has shutout the Saints each of the past two years.
CLINCHED THE LIBERTY LEAGUE: Last Saturday, the Bombers clinched their season straight Liberty League title and another bid to the NCAA Championship with a 62-0 win over Buffalo State during Family and Alumni Weekend.
A DAY FOR THE RECORD BOOKS: In that 62-0 victory, IC set a new school record with 686 yards of total offense and matched a school mark with six interceptions. IC also picked up 31 first downs in the win. The Bombers threw for four touchdowns and ran for four more as IC racked up 375 yards through the air and 311 on the ground. IC also never punted in the game and the only drive that did not result in any points was the Bombers' final one that ended on a turnover on downs at the Buffalo State 2-yard line.
WEEKLY AWARDS ROLL IN: Following the Buffalo State contest, the Liberty League released its weekly awards and IC nearly swept.
Cam Paquette was named Defensive Performer of the Week after he recorded two interceptions and one tackle,
Derek Baldin accounted for 14 points on two made field goals and eight extra points to earn Special Teams Performer of the Week and
Colin Schumm was the Rookie of the Week after he threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns.
Dan Mason was on the honor roll has he ran for 71 yards on three carries for two touchdowns.
NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS: IC has clinched a spot in the upcoming NCAA Division III Championship. The 32-team field will be announced on November 12 with first round games taking place on November 18.
TOP 25 POLLS: Ithaca stayed at No. 15 in the D3football.com Top 25 Poll and moved up to No. 16 in the AFCA rankings. The Bombers have remained in the 15-to-18 slot since Week 2.
NCAA STAT LEADERS: The Bombers are solidifying their No. 15 national rank, not only in the polls but in statistical categories as well. IC ranks third in turnovers lost (4), third in fumbles lost (1), ninth in sacks allowed per game (.5), 11th in turnover margin (1.5), 14th in interceptions thrown (3), 14th in passed intercepted (13), 14th in scoring defense (11.8), 14th in winning percentage (.875) and 17th in red zone defense (.60).
Derek Baldin is 11th in the country in field goals made per game (1.12),
Derek Slywka ranks 12th in blocked kicks (2), 17th in passes defended per game (1.5) and 21st in interceptions per game (.5).
Ben Stola is 26th in total tackles per game (10).
THE 64TH CORTACA JUG: Ithaca welcomes Cortland, ranked No. 16, to South Hill next Saturday, November 11 for the 64th Cortaca Jug Game, and 81st all-time meeting, at 12 p.m. It will mark the first time that IC has played on its home field since 2017. The Bombers have won 38 Jug Games dating back to the first contest in 1959, which includes a 34-17 victory last season as both teams entered that contest at Yankee Stadium with 9-0 records. Since the very first meeting in 1930, the Bombers lead the all-time series, 43-34-3. IC and Cortland are both currently 7-1 as the Red Dragons play for their Empire 8 Conference championship this weekend against 7-1 Brockport.
SCOUTING ST. LAWRENCE: The Saints are 2-6 on the season and 0-4 in the Liberty League. St. Lawrence will be honoring its seniors on Saturday. St. Lawrence averages just over 12 points a game and allows 28 points per contest. The Saints' offense averages 256.6 yards, while its opposition records 340.9, with 192 coming on the ground.
The offense runs through quarterback Will Lederman, who leads the team in passing and rushing. Lederman has run for 248 yards and four touchdowns on the season and thrown for 709 yards and five more scores.
Cole Salyards is the top receiving target with 468 yards on 34 receptions and four touchdowns. Shea Goodwin is another option through the air with 343 yards on 32 catches.
Joseph O'Neil paces the defense with 48 total tackles, while Daniel George is next in line with 42 stops. Grady Harrington and Owen O'Brien lock down the secondary with 15 combined pass breakups.
