Schenectady, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's swimming & diving program were in action on Saturday afternoon as they competed against Union College in their final tune-up before the Liberty League Championships. The Bombers were victorious on the road by a 215.5-68.5 score.

Matthew Stevens had a good showing at Union taking home first place in both the distance freestyle events beginning in the 1000-yard event where he recorded a time of 10:09.66. In the 500-yard free, Stevens was just under two seconds faster than the second-place finisher from Union with his time of 4:55.17.

First year Ryan Cooke also won two events individually as he began the meet winning the 200-yard freestyle with a recorded time of 1:47.66. He also won the 100-yard butterfly touching the final wall with a time of 2:04.29.
