POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 19 Ithaca College men's track & field team picked up right where they left out after Day One of the Liberty League Outdoor Championships at Vassar College and came away with the program's second consecutive outdoor title with 211 points.
Rochester was the next closest school to the Bombers at the championship as UR totaled 182 points, while RPI was third with 145 points and RIT came in fourth with 129 points.

At the conclusion of the meet,
Nathaniel Oczkowski was named track performer of the meet and
Kevin Danaher was selected as field performer of the meet.
On Saturday, Oczkowski won the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 15.12 seconds, the 400-meter dash in 49.05 seconds and the 400-meter hurdles in a meet record time of 53.03 seconds.
Danaher won the discus at 45.41 meters (148' 11") and the shot put with a mark of 16.11 meters (52' 10.25").
The 4x100-meter relay time of
Anthony D'Addetta,
Aaron Davis,
Akap Takor and
Andy Frank beat the field by nearly a half-second with a time of 42.33.
Frank also ran in the 100-meter dash and took first in a time of 10.76 seconds, while D'Addetta came in third at 11.02 seconds and Takor was seventh in 11.29 seconds.
Frank claimed his third first place finish of the day in the 200-meter dash as he crossed the line first in 21.76 seconds. D'Addetta also ran in the 200 and finished in fourth with a time of 22.62 seconds.
The team of Frank,
Zachary Woodruff,
Alex Whatley and
Ian Ertel were the runners-up in the 4x400-meter relay in a time of 3:24.17.
Brendan Sheehan claimed third in the discus at 44.62 meters (146' 5'), while
Justin Showstead was fifth with a mark of 41.16 meters (135').
Showstead placed third in the shot put at 14.88 meters (48' 10") and
Luke Tobia was fourth at 13.84 meters (45' 5").
Woodruff placed fifth in the 400 hurdles in 57.91 seconds, while Whatley was fifth in the 800-meter run in 1:57.26.
Davis placed fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 13.42 meters (44' 0.5") and
Spence Whitmore was eighth at 13.01 meters (42' 8.25").
Benjamin Tiber was a sixth place finisher in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:56.46.
