ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team concluded the Liberty League Outdoor Championship at RIT in fifth place with 45.5 points. RPI won with 318.5 points.
Luke Ellor won the shot put by more than two meters with a facility record mark of 15.69 meters, which matches his PR for the outdoor season. Ellor also reached the podium in the discus with a fifth place showing after a heave of 41.58 meters.
Matt Lokshin reached the podium in two events on Saturday as he finished third in the 400-meter hurdles and fourth in the 110-meter hurdles. Lokshin clocked 55.36 seconds in the 400 and 15.53 seconds in the 110.
Lokshin also ran a leg on the sixth place 4x100-meter relay team, along with
Johnathan Wendt,
Jason Story and
Max Boreland, who posted a time of 43.52 seconds.
The 4x400-meter relay team, which also featured Lokshin, as well as
Evan Cherry,
Adam Mocho and
Colin Lesher, finished in a time of 3:26.40 to come in sixth place.
Gabriel Lane tied for sixth in the high jump with a clearance of 1.76 meters, while
Rhys Tickner totaled 5448 in the decathlon to finish sixth in the event.
