TFRRS Profile and Results
High School: Rhys attended Waterford High School and earned eight varsity letters in track & field and football. He was the indoor and outdoor track team captain in 2024, Connecticut All-State in the decathlon and 4x100, an outdoor nation championship qualifier in 2022 and 2024 and indoor national championship qualifier in 2024. Rhys is also the high school record holder in indoor pentathlon, outdoor pentathlon, decathlon, shuttle hurdle relay.
Personal: A chemistry major, he is the son of Derek and Jeanene Tickner.
